| I am from Buies Creek, NC, where I attended Campbell University for one year before transferring to NCSU. The only experience I have with embedded systems is a digital clock I made (just for fun) using an 8051 microcontroller. This is my first robotics project. I became interested in URC after seeing Seawolf II at the CSC/ECE picnic. | |||||

| I've lived in Raleigh, NC my whole life. Ever since I was very young I've been fascinated with computers and other logic circuits. I have especially been interested in the connection between electric circuits and physical systems (such as motors, levers, etc.). I really enjoy robotics because it brings all of these interests together in a fun and challenging manner. | |||||

| I am originally from the conurbation of Raleigh. I was shanghaied after high school and spent the next several years in the Navy, buccaneering beneath the seven seas. Afterwards, I returned to Raleigh, only to find myself once again working on submarines. I have not worked on robots before--I became interested at the CSC/ECE Picnic when I discovered that not all robots flail their arms about and shriek "Danger! Danger!" My current focus is software; however I hope to expand my focus to microcontrollers and power systems as I gain knowledge in those areas. | |||||

| I graduated with my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering in Spring 2006 and am planning on graduating with my Masters in Spring 2007 here from NC State. I fell for the microcontroller when I first worked with one in an Embedded Systems class and considered myself a digital guy since then. Well, until I started doing research and started falling in love with analog, that is. So today I work with both and realize that the best designs come out a combination of the best techniques in both. I have been with the club since its inception in Fall 2004. | |||||
